Makes sense, Lakers retooled as the top dogs along with plenty of West teams for a few years..they lost Harden so this 4th pick could be crucial in contending once the other top teams windows close.

The non-calls are getting quite pathetic.

Just wait until we play Miami. They'll get every little ticky tack foul called in their favor, then hammer DD & call it good defense.

Hansborough is obviously in motion, yet somehow gets the charge call, then Derozan pretty much has his feet set & gets called for a block.

Derozan gets hammered while dunking. No call.

I only watched 1/4 of the 4th quarter & I saw a lot of BS.

I like the idea of going viral and simply exposing refering in the NBA as a major problem. This is the only voice the fans could have on the matter. Something where fans of all teams can upload videos where they can point out how many "errors" the referees are making.

We know the league knows, but the thing is understanding that they know and doing nothing about it or making it known through the media that a review tape had been sent. The more people talk about it, the more people will start looking at the refs more carefully

I bet that new Data collection system (SportVu) could provide some pretty interesting, factual information if they purely focused on calls vs. non-calls.

BC should be asking them to collect those stats.

Its been this way for years. While I'm not surprised it still pisses me off when even our best players don't get foul calls. There should be no "earning" foul calls either its a foul or its not. Tired of all these superstar calls and just letting the opposing teams get away with hacking just so the refs can cover the betting lines in Vegas.

Casey has to lose it on the refs get tossed and make an example to the refs and the team that he won't stand for this BS anymore. The team also can't back down and resort to jumpers keep on attacking.

This pretty much followed the pattern of last nights game, first half was even in both, the second not so much.

The only difference was tonight the refs were still pretty even in the 3rd quarter as opposed to last night.

Stands out to me too. Jose was a pinball on that play. Ref had a clear view of it. I get a really creepy feeling about these refs.

Somebody should make a compilation of these things, off the top of my head:

During our win against the Wolves, they had 30 free throws to our 15 or something.

Same game there was a stretch (3rd-4th) of 13-14 minutes where the Wolves didn't commit a single foul, the only foul called was a obvious clear path hack by them.

Last night, the free throw discrepancy in the third and fourth quarter was 26-4 in favor of the Jazz.

Tonight, despite the game being incredibly physical, Indy gets called for their first foul with only 3 minutes left in the game, we've got 5 at this point. The foul itself was the play where DD got hacked, and the refs called it late; they were waiting to see if it went in or not. You can believe that if he hit that, it wouldn't have been called.

There are so many examples, that's just the ones I can remember.

Exactly this! This team is soft at times I don't think Casey has ever been thrown out of a game even though we've been getting jobbed on some of the calls made against us
