Seriously hate spoiled young nba players like this, horrible for the sport. So much potential but so immature.
This is the same guy who was parking in handicap parking spots and flagrant fouling JJ Barea on his way out of the playoffs.
Lakers fans, and I, aren't surprised. He's as spoiled as spoiled gets. His knee problems were inevitable but they should never have gotten this bad if he properly prioritized his recovery. He's constantly delayed his surgeries/procedures/rehabs for the sake of having fun. There was that one season where he missed a month of the season because he wanted to go to Europe to watch the World Cup.
Which is a shame because he's one of the best role models for aspiring big men to learn off of. His fundamentals and big men instincts are as good as they get.
Jeremy Lin, Jerryd Bayless, Bismack Biyombo, I believe.

Bynum is that huge guy that was in that special class in elementary school but you never saw them in high school. Looks normal but I bet he couldn't fill out a form without help.

Don't flame me for this but I question if bynum takes this seriously sometimes. It's not a good look for philly imo. But he's a good center when he plays. Just wasting talent. But yes, lakers are very lucky lol.

Last I heard the Sixers said he would return "no later than" January. Iono if that was before or after this new development.

Feel bad for Philly but it wasn't hard to see that Bynum has an IQ of at most 25. Really cannot stand this guy.

I'm going another way with this, from a Lakers point of view.
From their end I think they absolutely knew what he is, was and would likely be in another uniform.
Upper management had a man crush on him but after awhile even that wore a bit thin. Besides if the return for Andrew is Superman, you make that trade 8 days a week. I'm sure they felt they were dodging a bullet with Bynum though and they're happy to get him out of there (or call it lucky, if you will)

Why would you auto-draft your first round pick in a league that you actually cared about?
The day of my draft my parents asked me to go to a social event with them and I did, but I left early. Except driving home took exceptionally long due to traffic so by the time I was able to sign in it was already in the 3rd round.
That sucks. Always rank your first three or four rounds pre draft.
Yeah, I effed up by not doing that. You live and you learn I guess.

Now there are reports Bynum is done for the season, and if he needs a particular type of surgery, he's not going to be ready in time for the start of next season.

Wow.....if that is true, what an utter disaster for Philly.
