Honestly just trade him for an expiring contract. I'd be down for a Bargnani for JJ Hickson and Shawne Williams trade. POR needs bench scoring

So Laker fans doing the same thing with a future hall-of-famer is going to lead to players not wanting to sign in L.A.? Good to know.

First off:
like anyone in a position to do anything is going to listen to a bunch of people on twitter to make a business decision. Might as well picket the game if you want to really make a difference. If you're going to do it, do it **** right. cost the organization money, of course then you run the risk of the raptors not being profitable in the current location but oh well, the guys will be moved.
Secondly:\
People seriously need to evalute what constitues being a fan, and the impact that has throughout the league. All this nonsense being put out there only make the fanbase, to an outside, look like a hostile place. jeez, even the nyk fans dont try to run players out of town, and show support as long as they are wearing jersey. Dont think for one second that players dont talk to others, they dont see this twatter crap etc. I for one want people to think the raps organization and fanbase is great, not so condescending and what have you done for me lately.

Why would they take on $12 mil worth of salary for a bench player? I'll be surprised if we don't get a Wilson Chandler/Charlie Villanueva type contract back in return for Bargs.
is it possible to amnesty someone in the middle of the season?

Your loyalty to this team is commendable. As is your desire to represent this fanbase in a respectable manner. However, it has gotten to a point where it is unacceptable. What are you expecting? Are you expecting the fanbase to sit at the edge of their seats with a blind eye? I just don't understand what the issue is in regards to fans wanting a change. We may not cause change, but our voices will certainly be heard within the GTA.
Ultimately, the issue is accountability. How does this carry on so long? Can it not be any more clear how Bargnani's poor play has a negative impact on this basketball team? It's blatantly obvious. So the question becomes, why isn't anything being done? It goes beyond these first 13 games. It stretches back to last year and the year before. He is a piss poor rebounder and a low % volume SG in a PF/C's body. He is redundant. He is absolutely unnecessary. He is a great guy with a good heart, but that is not going to get us anywhere. Last year we painfully watched this team slug it out on the court when it was obvious then that Bargnani and even Calderon are not fit for this basketball team. There is so much dysfunction on this team it scares me. From Bryan's piss poor decision making to Dwayne's lack of intelligence/basketball intuition (rotations, knowing who to play at what time) to Bargnani's pathetic display of shot selection (22 footers, wild drives to the rim, etc).
The damage has been done. The team has had their fun. It's over. A change needs to be made. The next problem will be the players losing the coach. Because they certainly will in regards to the disparity of who deserves playing time vs. who is actually getting playing time.

Id be up for trading bargs for tyreke evans. That deal is almost 100% doable. Tyreke can come off the bench, and we can only hope his game would be reignited. And the other advantage is the obvious addition by subtraction in the starting lineup. I can see ed davis being very good beside val
