LOL yea this made me laugh. It like MLSE is saying 'we haven't really been following this team - just got back from a crazy trip month long trip in Thailand - how are the Raptors??'

Can't help but feel a bit vindicated.

It was never in question whether they would spew such corporate mumbo jumbo; it was a question as to whether such mumbo jumbo actually had any inherent merit ... which it still doesn't. So, well done for anticipating that the representative of a giant ownership group would sound off in some incredibly inane fashion by way of justifying the status quo for just a little bit longer. Really, bravo.

The worst thing you could have is a basketball team run by a bunch of fat cat bureaucrats. There are all sorts of politics at play and things take forever to progress. Lets talk about this, then put it aside for now, call this meeting, call another meeting, wait for that deadline, etc. You probably have people on the board who hate the other people, pitting votes against each other, playing devil's advocate. They're more concerned with the business aspect of the team, then their own little interests, and basketball and winning take a back seat. And how many of them are knowledgable about basketball and the NBA?

With a single majority owner all that gets tossed out the window and he lives and dies for his team.

MLSE needs to just bite the bullet and fire BC now, today if possible. There is not much point in waiting until after the draft, even if you still believe in his drafting ability, as it is more likely we will lose the pick, than keep it. There is no point in waiting until after the trade deadline, as BC's trades have been mostly terrible. As a bonus, the sooner BC gets fired, the sooner he is likely to be hired by another team, giving us a much sought after trading partner to unload Bargnani to, and likely get a 1st round pick from (Even with 29 other teams in the league, some of which are run by clowns, it is hard to imagine any GM other than BC being stupid enough to trade for a 7th year player who performs at the level of a 3rd stringer, but gets paid 10+ million a year, and has a trade kicker, no matter how much talent the player has).
