How exactly does this mean more Gray? Amir and Ed haven't cracked 30 minutes in the last 4 games IIRC, they can just stay on the floor....

Looked more like he jammed it on Nicholson's leg reaching for the ball. He pulled it in and cradled it before hitting the floor.

Not sure why a guy who doesn't shot is gonna lose much time over a finger

I had the same injury on my index...I'd guess he will be out for about a month, it would be very hard to dribble or shoot properly with that hand. I couldn't grab tight onto anything while it was dinged up.

This isn't that bad of an injury. Like mentioned, Love was only out five weeks with two fractures. He'll be back mid-January more than likely.

He'll definitely be out a month. Could possibly come back a bit sooner depending on how fast he can heal.

I think Kyrie Irving had the same injury.

I couldn't care less if it takes 3 weeks or 13 weeks to heal.

As long as it heals well.

Ya that's why I said at least 3 weeks could easily be more.

It's actually not a bad injury--at least it's not knee or leg related. He'll be fine once he heals. I think he needs the rest anyway, looked like he's hit the wall right now.

I would be upset about this injury but I feel like management/coaching still isn't seeing what an integral piece Ed Davis is to this team, so I hope he sees a boost in minutes while Val is out, and hopefully Aaron Gray can keep the bench warm enough with Ed Davis not being there.

Yup, it's a very long season for rookies. That's why I find it a bit ridiculous when people argue that JV is not playing enough minutes. He's playing more minutes per game than any other rookie big except for Anthony Davis. And the Brow has only played in 12 games.

I think some time off in the middle of the season may actually prove helpful for JV. The rest for his legs will help him in the last 2 months of the season.

I got torched not a month ago for stating that an increase in minutes could increase the potential in JV getting injured.

I was right.

Gotta look at the big picture guys. With Val out, how does this effect Bargnani trade talks?
