I've cracked/broken bones in my off-hand a couple times before, a middle fingertip and the pinkie-side base of my palm, and the blood just swishing around the hand hurts like hell. Running sucks, even. Then again, Kobe played a couple years with a mangled finger. The one thing that separates us us toughness.

2 1/2 weeks

......thankfully he got injured during christmas and new year's holiday when there were less games....hopefully we will be back in a few weeks

Nope not I. There was a question about how long he would be out if he needed surgery, but I didn't raise it.

Lets hope the trainers were able to slip him some HGH to speed up the healing process and give him a little lift for the 2nd half of the season.

If he can start understanding those offensive plays (off ball situation), that would be great. I don't think he needs his hand for those positioning, but of course, we want to be cautious.

the cast can be off if the fracture's healed.
they'll still restrict contact for another 2-4 weeks to ensure strength at the fracture site.
