I don't know about that. I think Wallace is a great SF but he's already 30 and has 3 years ~$30 mill left on his contract after this year. Not the type of guy the Raptors should go after.

Of course this is all moot because the Nets aren't trading him. Especially not for Bargnani.

they traded a high 1st round pick for him.

No way they give up on chemistry yet

how is that funny? none of us have any say in anything, everyone has their own opinions on how to build a team. You might think GWall is the answer, which makes you wrong as usual.

It's funny because this team (and whole organization) is about a quick fix. And although I like some of the young pieces, this team is never in a position to acquire elite talent via the draft.

I like Washington and Detroit as suitors for Cousins with the Kentucky PG connection. I wonder if there isnt some sort of angle to get Washington's pick and facilitate some contracts being dumped. I also like the thought of targeting Monroe if the Pistons want to build around Knight and Drummond and Cousins

Toronto Gets - Greg Monroe
Detroit Gets - Cousins
Sacramento Gets - Kyle Lowry + 2nd Rounder Back from Toronto

Calderon - Lucas
DeRozan - Ross
Fields - Anderson
Monroe - Davis - Bargnani (Amnesty)
JV - Amir - Bargnani (Amnesty)

Toronto Gets - Garcia + Okafor + 2014 Washington 1st Rounder Unprotected or Sacramento 2014 1st
Sacramento Gets - Lowry + Velsely + Sacramento 2nd
Washington Gets - Cousins + Bargnani

Raps

FA - Calderon (new deal $4m) - Lucas
DeRozan - Ross -
Wiggins - Anderson - Fields
Davis - Amir - Acy
JV - Vet - Gray

You don't need Crash and Davis together, both will not give you the offense that we need.
His contract is horrible as well.

We like to pick these idea out of the air like picking lint out of our navel.

It doesn't seem to fit any logic of chemistry, or the future direction of the team. The Granger thing I can see because with Paul George emerging as SF of the future there, they might want to throw off Granger's contract and use the money on other things. But BKN has no money concerns, the owner spends more money on parties and whores than he does on Gerald Wallace

This trade makes little sense for us, I'd rather just amnesty Bargnani than take on Wallace's disgusting contract.

Been playing 2k13 as the raps and twolves
A fair trade I did to improve both teams

Derozan and fields

For

D Williams and Roy

We dump a 6m a year player in fields and an over paid Derozan and gives us the better prospect
In Williams. We add to our core and this trade forces our hand to trade Bargnani

Simmons posted this trade. I think it is fair for Raptors, but I would not do it if I were Celtics.

Boston:

Lowry
Hayes
Cousins
Fredette

Raptors:

Evans
Isiah Thomas

Kings:

Rondo
Lee
Fab Melo

Than 3 way trade with Lakers/Twolves

Lakers:
Bargani/Calderon
Twolves:
Gasol
Raptors:
Derek Williams/Pekovic/Roy(to make the salaries work)

Toronto Lineup:

Isiah Thomas/Evans
DD/Ross
Evans/Fields
Davis/Williams
Pekovic/Jonas/Amir
