Hawks have struggled after a hot start. Same with Jeff teague. Josh smith is in a walk year, and ATL is looking to preserve cap space for a run at Dwight Howard(local kid)

I like this trade.

How about Washington? They need a power forward. He's close enough in age to Wall and Beal to still be a long term piece. 2nd/3rd scoring option in a position they are lacking. His contract isn't too bad.

Okafor comes back to us. Good fit to play 20-25 mpg while mentoring JV for a couple years. Doesn't cut into Ed or Amir's playing time.

I don't see a prob with it for either team, and I think it helps everyone.

Carter and Bargnani to Lakers

Kaman, Dahntay Jones, and Beubious to Raptors

Play him at PG then Lowry, Calderon etc can be used in a package to net something big.

I like Derozan for Tyreke. We can sell the Kings on the fact that Derozan is a character guy...and we get the much more talented player.

Let's find a list of the biggest nice guy losers and that will be who we're realistically targeting.

Bargnani and Anderson

for

Wilson Chandler and Mozgov

I think it works for both teams... we get a legit starter at 3 who can hit the 3 and a backup C to play instead of Gray. Plus we shed some of Bargnani's salary.

Denver gets an offensive big to bring off the bench as a 4. They replace Chandlers minutes with Anderson.

Few posters have pointed out that Bargnani will put Denver over the cap. Will probably have to include Anthony Randolph to the Raps, and Raps send back Acy or Pietrus. I rather set my eyes on straight up Bargnani for Jeff Green trade.

I'm not even a DeMar hater like most of the people on this board, but that's a positive deal for us. Tyreke has more guard skills as opposed to DeMar's hops. Reke next to T-Ross is beautiful.

This is assuming Colangelo doesn't make any moves (or isn't allowed to), we lose our pick in the draft and a new GM comes in for the summer:

Trade 1:

TOR-Bargnani, protected 1st rd. pick and Fields to WAS-Nene, Singleton, and Vesely

Trade 2:

Lowry, protected 1st rd. pick, Aaron Gray and a resigned Alan Anderson to SAC/SEA-Tyreke Evans (extended)

Free Agency:

Get DeRozan to recruit Jennings, who wants out of MIL and we sign him in the range of 10-12 mill. a year.

Amnesty Kleiza for cap space

Sign Marco Belinelli if possible with whatever is left of our cap space.

TORONTO RAPTORS 2013/2014 ROSTER:

C- Nene, Val
PF-Johnson, Davis
SF-Evans, Vesley, Singleton
SG-Ross, DeRozan
PG-Jennings, Belinelli, Lucas

Not a ton of depth, but a good balance here and a foundation to build upon.

Not sure if we would have enough to make this work, but just an idea...it is my first post here, so don't be too harsh :D

Bill Simmons posted a "fake" trade

To Toronto - Pau Gasol, Jeff Teague

To Atlanta - Kyle Lowry, Andrea Bargnani

To Lakers - Josh Smith, Anthony Morrow.

Yikes no... Cut Lakers out and give Lowry Bargnani for Josh Smith, Morrow, and Teague.

Seeing AA given and taking shots like he is a number option gets really frustrating...
Those same shots could be used by a younger player to demonstrate his worthiness (or lack of it)..

Derrick Williams would be the ideal candidate.

Rick Aldeman does not seem to like playing those talented SF/PF-primarily SF (i.e Beasley)

Here's some Realistic trade proposals that could benefit the Raps:

Andrea Bargnani + Jose Calderon for Andre Miller + Javale Mcgee = straight swap (denver has him on the bench, and probably would love a stretch big like bargs, George Karl would turn bargs into a 15/7 player easily)

Andrea Bargnani + Jose Calderon for Danilo Gallinari + Andre Miller (they might keep gallo, since hes starting)

Andrea Bargnani + Jose Calderon for Wilson Chandler + Anthony Randolph (if wilson doesn't produce efficiently, this is a definite one)

Jose Calderon + Andrea Bargnani for Derrick Williams + Luke Ridnour + Stiemmsa

lol I would trade Bargnani for Beasley and Channing Frye, bargs is horrible
 Masai’s Raptors

PG: I. Quickley/ T. Horton-Tucker/ J. Freeman
SG: G. Trent Jr./ G. Dick/ B. Brown
SF: R. Barrett/ O. Agbaji / G. Temple
PF: S. Barnes/ T. Lyles/ J. Crowder
C: J. Poeltl/ K. Olynk/ J. Porter

Most of these trades with Denver involve them taking on more salary, and I think they are looking to shed if anything. Only trade I can see work with Denver is Bargnani and Acy for Chandler, Mozgov, and Randolph.

Minni trade will probably be a 3 way with the Lakers.

What about a bold move? A move may pay big dividends if it works.

Bargnani for McGee

Then you have 4 young athletic bigs ( ED, AJ, JM, & JV ) in rotation. JM can defend bigger bodies and won't get pushed around as much as the others. Plus, he is a big shot blocker.

I know your initial reactions might most likely be no. However, given AB's trade value as it is, it might not be the worst thing to do. I'm not sure DEN would like to do it though. :D

Also, imagine how Lowry can work with him---a baseline dish to McGee for a dunk or a lob from beyond the arc.
