I for one have never been for trading Jose. Despite his weakness' he does have some great strengths.
Cut our loses on Bargs, he is what he is, but just doesn't fit this team any more.

Bargs Kleiza to Detroit
Prince Maxiell to Toronto

Gives Detroit a dangerous frontcourt.
Gives Toronto some sorely needed leadership, a starting SF for a couple years and another solid roleplaying big.
Does Detroit do it.....

I usually don't pay too much attention to the wins added or subtracted Hollinger formula just below the trade. Usually it's close to a wash. If it isn't, usually it's a matter of the young talent being traded out has potential, but right now doesn't generate the wins that the experience coming back.

But I think in this case you should ponder those figures at the bottom, and then ask yourself your own question.

Let's get Reggie Evans back. Unfortunately Brooklyn signed him to a 3-yr deal but it would be awesome to see him again. He is phenomenal in his only skill set: rebounding. Move Bargnani and work with this:

Jennings didnt recieve a contract extension from the Bucks and has hinted several times he will likely sign elsewhere. If Lowry doesnt pan out for the Raptors or if he doesnt want to be in Toronto long term, I think a Jennings-Lowry swap will become a real possibilbity this summer.

I wonder if the lakers would consider dumping Nash and Jamison for Jose's expiring?

I know I would trade Lowry for Jennings.

I think Lowry is slightly better but Jennings clearly loves TO (as seen below) that he has stated publicly as well and of course with bff DeRozan here amongst other friends (Amir, Ed) I'm almost 100% confident he would re-sign. Lowry on the other hand coming off the bench and not be on a winning team I'm not so sure.

A DD and Jennings backcourt would be a **** Nightmare. Two insanely inefficient jump shooters who can't play a lick of defense

do you even watch basketball

this would be one of the worst, and most over paid team in maybe the history of basketball. 4 inneficient players who are all overpaid, and 3 of them are terrible defenders.

for **** sake. why does everyone want to be below average and in cap hell'

Im a big Gay fan, and I think once he gets out of Hollins system he could explode, but the other 3 are bad players.

Return to Toronto Raptors
