i have a torn labrum in my shoulder before. Simple quick surgery, but recovery was 6 months. I'm not an nba athlete though so obviously it should be way quicker for them.

My best buddy tore his many years ago. Never got it fixed. It just hangs above his hip. Looks gross. I think he's getting it surgically repaired soon but he has lived with it like that for years. Weirdest thing I've seen. Except for the aforementioned "torn labia".
