When Jonas back? and be a starter?

Postby water_st on Fri Jan 11, 2013 10:02 am

Hey, a fantasyer here for asking when Jonas will be back?
According to previous news, he should had rest for 4-6 weeks, but seriously, there has no update about him.
So, anybody could tell me the exactly date he comes back?
And also, could he takes his starter back in your guys opinion.

It's a serious injury that could cause pain for a while, we'll just have to wait and see. I think 6-8 weeks is more realistic than 4.

I have a feeling they'll ease him back into the rotation, so I see him coming off the bench for a while.

I'd like to see him come off the bench and see how well he plays post-injury against bench centers first before throwing him in the fire against the Noahs and Hibberts of the league.

English isn't everyone's first language. Sorry to disappoint you guys with that little bit of information.

I can definitely see Jonas coming off of the bench for the rest of the season, or at least until he earns his spot. He was improving, but his defense isn't quite there yet. With regards to how long he'll be out for, I can't give you a definitive answer.

I see him coming off the bench for at least a couple of weeks when he returns.

You mean Alex English? He's an assistant coach for the Kings.

Nice job. Make fun of people because English isn't their first language? Keep it classy..

His starting spot will depend on Amir's play for the next little while. The reason why Casey likes to keep Amir out of the starting lineup is to keep him out of early foul trouble so that he's around in the 4th quarter.

Amir would be a starter if he didn't always get early fouls. I still see Jonas being more likely to start. He'll likely have his minutes reduced to under 20 minutes a game though.

The interesting thing is that Amir seems to control his fouls better when he starts. He started the majority of the games the last couple seasons and his foul rate dropped pretty significantly but this year he went back to the bench and it shot up again.

I may look into it a little more closely if I can be bothered some time.

On a decent team, he is far from starter material. On our team, he likely will start again. Sad.

So seriously.... anyone have any idea when JV is back? I want some kind of reason to cheer for this team. He's been out for a while now, I'd assume it should be anytime in the next week or so. Anyone have any indication?

I was gonna ask the same thing.

What about Bargzilla, though? Any timetable on when Flabby McNoRebound will be back in the lineup?
