Does Dallas have any assets that could be sent to a third team in order to acquire Jose? Because I'm pretty sure we've seen the last of Mike James in the NBA.

It seems like Jose would be a great fit with Dallas. Thoughts on this proposal:

To Dallas: Jose Calderon
To Toronto: Darren Collison and Vince Carter
Trade ID #6208439

Vince's next 2 years are only partially guaraunteed so the team could always bring him back to sell tickets and then take it year-to-year (retirement or cutting him, if necc.). Collison seems like he'd be easy for Colangelo to sell as a "high upside" guy to build for the future.

I fully expect to get flamed for this considering who is involved, but the trade technically works and it seems like something MLSE would do (remember when they brought back Gilmour?). Just something to think about.
