im way up northern alberta, good luck finding a place that will be showing a basketball game over and hockey game.

Most good bars have satellites, with thousand of channels. Find a bar a few hours before the game, and ask the bartender/server if they could check the broadcast schedule. I also travel just like you, and most of the time I find good bars.

My friends and I were all excited to watch that game with a **** load of beer. And nope had to show **** curling. Almost pissed me off more when about 3 or 4 years ago The Score's court surfing was some douche bag with a crowd interviewing people and they showed barely any basketball...It was mindblowing.
