Mo Pete could make that shot blindfolded.

Great for the team but it was virtually an uncontested 3, it would have been bad had he missed that.

I don't know, he was running and jumping left from a few feet behind the line. It certainly wasn't *incredible* but that was fine fine shot.

Oh by no means was it unimpressive, I dunno I guess I was just expecting something spectacular for someone to make a thread about it.

The height of the shot and the player's reaction is similar to this:

No way. Kobes was way nicer and he had legit 1 second to shoot.

The Mo shot has a legit argument for the craziest buzzer beater ever.

That shot ended up screwing us actually. If Wash would have won that game, they would have ended up being the 6 seed instead of the Nets. That was the year when Wash lost EVERYONE just before the playoffs. We probably would have swept our way into the 2nd round.

C'mon, mayne. You can't fully appreciate the shot only with Chuck's call. You gotta have the Washington call (at 27 sec):

The genius of the above highlight clip is that the studio guys know when to shut the hell up and let the play-by-play man convey the excitement. "It gets funnier every time I see it".

Then there's the "Canada Sux" video:

"God bless America". "It's over!" "Oh My God!". It's like the Zapruder film - an unending treasure trove. Priceless.

That Mo three cost us a playoff series. Had Washington lost that game they would have ended 6th and us 3rd, but instead we ended up 2nd and NJ was 7th. Washington had two big stars down (Gilbert and I beleive Jamison) and completely laid over in the first round. We got Vince. We all remember how that went.

No, we still finished 3rd and NJ finished 6th.
