This thread needs an age limit, apparently some posters in here started watching BBall in 2008. They should just go to youtube and search for TMAC highlights then come back. I can believe that people have not seen enough Keon Clark plays or highlights but TMAC? Really?

Well, those three are almost running away with it... Ross just gets some 'homer' votes I think.
I'd be VC, Tmac, Keon then Ross.

I think the poll needs to be more specific: "What is the best dunk in Raptors history."

3) Ross - More fluid than DD in the air.

4) Derozan (mostly off of dunk comp stuff like "showtstopper"

5) Weems

6) Moon - He jumped over players/refs but when we had him he was a bit older

7) Clark - His cram on Bradley was nasty

8) Pops

9) Ed

10) Amir

Errrr.....no Bosh? Bosh had some absolutely filthy throwdowns in his time.

I think his best dunk ever (Bosh) was the two step take off over Theo but beyond that I don't remember a ton of amazing Bosh dunks. His leaping ability, as evidenced by his combine results, wasn't terribly impressive. Bosh was more of a speed guy with moderate athleticism than a guy that relied heavily on jumping over guys. He moved quicker than most but didn't necessarily jump better than most.

And I tend to favor dunkers who add a bit of flavor to their dunks (guys that are capable of reverses, windmills, nice alley-oops, etc) and get up high over big guys. Ed and Amir get up pretty high though for big guys which is why I have them in the top 10. Amir Johnson's two-foot takeoff, two-handed dunk from just outside the circle about 10 games back was absolutely filthy and he did it in traffic too.

Ross has had some unbelievable in game dunks despite only being with us for less than half a season. The dunk that was called off showcased ridiculous explosiveness and his offensive rebound dunk against Portland last week was one of the better in game dunks of this year, IMO (especially when you see it in slow motion from the baseline angle). He's honestly had some really good ones this year.

The only reason I have DD so high is because he has had some impressive ones in dunk contests over the years. His in-game dunks could be better given what he's capable of in dunk contests. He has had some nice alley-oops over the years though.

PS - We may not be spoiled as far as winning goes but we have been pretty spoiled as far as dunkers/athleticism go. Any team with only a 17 year history that has athletes like Derozan, Weems and Moon 4th, 5th or 6th has had its fair share of dunkers. And obviously VC spoiled us so badly that almost everybody else seems boring by comparison.

This is a no brainer. Vince Carter is the best Raptors or maybe the best-5 NBA dunker ever.

Carlos Rogers definitely belongs in the top 10...

Reggie Slater also deserves a mention as a pretty exciting power dunker back in the day...

I wish there was better video of that Keon Clark dunk. One of my favourite plays of all time.

VC is obvioulsy GOAT raptor dunker and probably GOAT dunker period. Fred Weis ftw.

Personally I chose Keon Clark and Ross as my other choices. I know TMac was amazing and he is a close 4th but some of Ross' dunks have been absolutely thrilling. Power, hops, creativity, grace, skill - he's shown as much as any raptor not named VC imo.

Someone call up the Raptors and get some Keon Clark footage put online...

EDIT: hey I found some.

honestly the slo-mo almost takes away the best part of his dunks though which was their vicious suddenness...

Did Fred Jones have any great dunks in his stint with the Raps? He was a Slam Dunk contest winner after all.

I'm 30 and have been watching the team since it's inception yet I still am picking Ross over T-mac. Ross' dunks are vince-esque, T-mac had some sick ones but most were two hand putbacks and what not. Ross' are finesse.

For instance.
