A horrible fanbase is one that doesn't show up or care even when the team is a winner. The fact that the Raptors have had a strong fanbase and strong attendance despite their perennially losing ways and horrible mismanagement, in a country where hockey reigns supreme would actually argue against your point.

Most of the unhappy fans are intelligent, hardcore fans who have supported the team for years and are aware of what it takes to compete in this league. They are not satisfied with the garbage that is being peddled out, nor do they believe the BS coming from the management or their mouth pieces.

Anybody who is completely satisfied, happy and optimistic about this team as it currently stands is naive, foolish and not very knowledgeable about the team and basketball in general.

We have a top 10 fan base you can see it in $. The issue is between hockey being the lead in Canada and less B-ball focus growing up our fans don't see things the way fan of teams in the rest of the league do!

Also fan fatigue from BC hurts our diehard base. The casual fan does not know any better?

Great fans combined with a history of losing. We are hyper sensitive to anything remotely associated with losing - so if a guy has a bad game, we want him gone. If he has a good game, give him 5 years. Its idiotic, but a result of what has happened here (or hasn't) since this franchise was born

No, we don't have the most horrible fans, I think we're quite passionate and dedicated judging even from the most negative threads because it shows that we care about the franchise. That being said, it's expected the board is going to be littered with ignorant, irrational posts consider the fan's demographic ranges from 4 to 90, with different degrees of knowledge in the game of basketball. There are a very few that I've seen in my entire time here who seems eternally pessimistic to the team no matter what and the others just want to team to be in a position where they can peacefull cheer on. The problem with a lot of the posts here is that it's very short sightered (aka..what have you done for me lately?) such that a bad stretch of games equates to player X = scrub and a few bad play callings = "get this clown fired and hire coach ___". As well, the 2nd problem, the bigger one is that tehre's never a rosy picture and the arguments are rarely fair assessments such that it doesn't paint the big picture but just tidbits that support one's argument.
