Option 2: Trash management / our roster on a regular basis because we're fed up with the performance of this franchise over the years. Our leadership has been incompetent for years and it's frustrating. Hopefully the new ownership group will be able to steer things in a good direction this offseason, but we'll see.

Option 3: Blind optimism!

Most of us are going with Option 2 these days. It's just how it is.

No way, Raptors fans are some of the best fans imo. Great sense of humor, and they're not content with being one of those teams that routinely compete for 9th seed. Also, the way the ACC fills up despite Raptors being a lottery team says something about the fans dedication to the team.

The fact is that all people are innately similar, no matter where you're from.

With this thread, it seems like you're making judgement from our board and this team only. You're looking at it from a narrow-minded point of view, like a frog in a well.

Look at our situation: Biggest fanbase on realgm and perennial losing team. At the beginning of every season, we always have a bunch of fans claiming how we'll be a top 5 seed in the playoffs..does that seem negative to you? In any fanbase you're always going to have extremes. The larger the crowd, the more of these extremes you'll get.

Canadian culture is pretty similar to American culture. Look at the American fans who throw bottles into the stands, spit on players and get into altercations/arguments with players. Read the news once in a while. Then we have the Euro fans, who are on a whole different level.

Frankly, their play doesn't inspire it.

Watching the raptors is a frustrating experience for

It's gotten so bad that all I can do is laugh at the situation to ease

What I think you're just experiencing is our collective frustration. We're particularly jaded because the leader
of our team is crippling the franchise with his moves.

It's because I suck. I am a truly pathetic sports fan. When I cheer for a team I tolerate the bad times so I can enjoy the good times. This is a completely self centered and selfish moronic point of view. A truly loyal fan will support a team regardless of the fact that most of the moves it makes guarantees continued mediocrity. I am sorry that my expectation of eventual success may spoil the enjoyment of more optimistic fans.
