Why do we have such extremely negative, idiotic, and simply horrible fan base.

Aside from Knicks fans, yes.

Many years of losing does that to you.

No, its mostly just you.

No we have the most horrible GM that sign scrubs to the most ludicrous contracts.

We have one of the best fan bases. Any other team with this terrible of a franchise with this following? There's not much to be positive about anyways.

Its a reflection on how sucky the franchise is. WHen we won the Atlantic or heck, even further back when we were battling NYK in the playoffs were fans this venomous to eachother and towards the organization/players? Absolutely not

The fact that people still support this pitiful team shows just how awesome Raptors fans actually are. This organization doesn't deserve its fans

It's pretty much just this board and their agendas of one specific player, but the most common you'll see is Calderon, Bargnani and DeRozan. And that one guy about Ed Davis for some reason.

New players have yet to expose their weaknesses. The only player immune to this is Amir Johnson, but some people here think he is an All-Star (well, at least it was few years ago).

No, we have very passionate fans. They are negative because the team has been awful forever.

Even if we were negative and idiotic, did you really expect us to support and applaud you for calling us...well idiotic and negative?

Definitely no. When our team have been losing for many years and the fans still support them... It means our fans are either have nothing to do with their time or they are very loyal to this team.

A horrible fanbase is one that doesn't show up or care even when the team is a winner. The fact that the Raptors have had a strong fanbase and strong attendance despite their perennially losing ways and horrible mismanagement, in a country where hockey reigns supreme would actually argue against your point.

Most of the unhappy fans are intelligent, hardcore fans who have supported the team for years and are aware of what it takes to compete in this league. They are not satisfied with the garbage that is being peddled out, nor do they believe the BS coming from the management or their mouth pieces.

Anybody who is completely satisfied, happy and optimistic about this team as it currently stands is naive, foolish and not very knowledgeable about the team and basketball in general.
