Tough loss, it'll be interesting to see because if Rondo is done for the season (and possibly most of next season), will the Celtics blow the team up and go into tanking or still try and make the playoffs?

Sucks for the NBA to lose one of its best point guards.

Agreed. Can't believe we still have fans talking about playoffs smh.

They've got nothing to trade and still compete, not even a 1st. Good thing for them Avery Bradley is the second coming.

And this was probably their last year to really make an impact in the playoffs.

I can't believe people have given up. It's not like this team has gotten destroyed every game. We just lost 3 overtime games and 1 game on a last-second shot recently. We've been in a position to win every game.

I really don't see why we can't make the playoffs. We are a better team then Detroit and philly and with rondo out I don't see Boston holding down the eighth seed. Let's have something to cheer for this season, let's cheer for the playoffs!

How nice. Philly and Detroit now have a legit shot at the seed unless Terry starts playing like he's supposed to

If we trade Jose to Boston, yes

wow that sucks. I guess playoff talk isn't completely crazy now. it depends on how hard Boston drops off. I think Philly takes the spot though. They're experienced with this kind of scenario and always sneak in every year.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.
