Would love to see your math in 19-8 puts us at 41 wins. No way you need 41 to get into the 8th seed, more like 35-39

Debbie downer, please go post in another thread, you're not welcome here

Yes I know it puts us at 41 wins, genius. 41 would be a safe bet. 35? Keep dreaming.

I'm sorry this is the East with the bucks currently holding the 8th seed. Average win total has been 39 over the past 5 seasons:)

With 39, we have to go 17 and 10..ya still not happening. Buck only have to 13-16. They can easily do that.

Expected from someone with the tank nation avatar. Again, this thread is for posters who believe in this playoff push. Bye

I'm sure this has been discussed, but the Bucks schedule looks pretty damn tough and ours isn't looking too difficult.

+1, how do we know that Redick will fit into the Bucks team chemistry? It will take time for him to gel with the team.

We still have a legit chance at the 8th seed. Just focus on winning as many games as possible before the season ends and worry about Milwuakee, Philly and Boston losing their games

Just win

Not sure how much he needs. After all he'll mostly just camp out in a corner and hit threes.

Remaining games for Raptors at the moment (Feb.21st/2013)

11 games vs above .500 teams
14 games vs below .500 teams (this includes Milwaukee, they are at 0.491)

Remaining games for Bucks at the moment (Feb.21st/2013)

15 games vs above .500 teams
14 games vs below .500 teams (2 of them vs Raps)

If they take it one game at a time and not look at the whole thing and think we need to win x amount of games they will have a better chance. Stuff like last game can't happen where our "star" type players force things at the end especially if there game is off. If they focus on just the game ahead of them NAND continue to play team ball they have got a chance without it we might as well just focus on giving OKC a worse pick as possible.

I didn't lose hope after this loss. I lost it once we went 4-19. It's just too big a hole to overcome. I hope they prove me wrong, but the math shows it's unlikely.

We can potentially beat them out for the last spot. It's going to come down to the 2 games against MIL at their house. If we get those 2 games, we will make the playoffs.

If we can reel together a few 4-5-6 game win streaks, we'll be good to go. We have to take the rest of the season possession by possession. And I think it's on Rudy to take this team by the horns and run with them... he needs to show up every game to give us a chance to do this properly.

I personally think we have a much better team than MIL right now. Let's go boys... go out and want it more than anyone. The X-Factor in all of this is going to be Valanciunas. If he can give a consistent effort every game, and he can stay out of foul trouble... this is our position to take. JV is the guy for our future... let's go boy!

I think the X-Factor is Bargs, knowing that Casey will be giving him a decent amount of playing time. If he can play passable defense and shoot decently we'll be alright. In our last game against Memphis we got absolutely nothing out of him in the 20+ minutes he played and we were still in the game.

Totally agree.
If you objectively look at what he is, this team would be completely different animal with a dynamic scorer like that coming off the bench and dropping like 12-16ppg.
It would solve so many of our problems in one blow.

Bargnani really does need to live up to his contract for us to be able to compete this season and next seasons in the future. He is the x-factor. We already know DD and Gay will provide the wing play, Lowry will be a reliable PG, Val will improve (hopefully Ross will take a leap foward), and Amir will do what he does best.

I'm becoming confident this team can compete with the best of them and hope for a 5th - 6th seed next season. On the other hand, this season we are simply too far behind and should really aim for 9th and give OKC the pick.
Looking for a new signature. Currently, still evaluating.
