But T.Young, Richardson and Bynum are all out.

Bynum will be back after the All-star Break .

We will have tough games in March, so we need to win as much as possible.

I am not worrying about Denver, but we definitely need to out score them, particularly our shooting is shooting the lights out. We should have no problem against their shooters.

Milwaukee is the one that I am worrying the most, since we do not have someone who can guard quick SG. We are weak at defending ball penetration, even though Gay eliminated the SF hole, we still need someone to guard quick PG and SG.

I wish we go 8-2, but hard to believe we beat Knicks twice, Memphis, Golden States and Milwaukee.

I wonder who else took the Over for the season at 31.5/32.5 like me.

I haven't crunched the numbers, but I think getting a top 3 pick is more likely than making the playoffs.

I would be surprised if we went 0.500 for the rest of the season. Lol playoffs. Wake up.

Jval17 wrote:Im back with another playoff optimism thread :lol:. Anyways, I know its a long shot but I'm still hoping that somehow we make a miraculous run and make it. With that said, lets take a look at Milwaukee's(8th seed) next 10 games compared to ours.

Bucks:

vsWashington W
vsPhiladelphia L
@Brooklyn L
vsBrooklyn W
vsAtlanta W
@Dallas L
@Houston L
vsToronto L
vsUtah L
@Los Angeles L

Predicted record (3-7). Al though this may be very biased, its very possible looking at that schedule.

Toronto:

vsDenver W
@NY Knicks L
@Washington W
vsMemphis W(Rudy will go HAM)
vsNY Knicks L
vsWashington W
@Cleveland W
vsIndiana W
@Milwaukee W
@Golden State L

Predicted record: (7-3) Again, very biased but looking at that schedule 7-3 is the best case, 5-5 worst?

Thoughts?

You people are ridiculous. We would literally need to win 10 games in a row to start discussing playoffs again. How many times this year has someone started a playoffs thread, get excited and then fall back to Earth when the team loses 3 straight?

We don't deserve anything. Milwaukee has been better than us this year. Playoffs aren't based on merit, their based on record. :roll:

There's no point in arguing with some of these guys. Raptors took themselves out of the playoff race when they started the season 4-19. They have no chance of making them and there really isn't any point since Miami will just sweep us anyway.

@WindhorstESPN
Andrew Bynum told reporters in Philly tonight that he's started to experience some pain in his left knee & that its "just not ready yet.

‏@Bucksketball
RT @andrewgruman: Larry Sanders says he's going to get a second opinion on his back. He's out against the Wizards tonight. #Bucks

@Bucksketball
I'm not going to be at the Bucks game tonight, but the news on Sanders doesn't sound great.

The Bucks appear to be in a free fall & the 8 seed in the East might have, like, 35 wins.

What about the advantages of sneaking into the 8th spot? We're trying to bring players in to improve the team drastically and the more noise the team makes the better chances we have of convincing players that are worth going after to come to T.O., to be here, and to stay here.

Pistons without Drummond
Sixers relying on the return of Bynum?
Bucks having a collapse, and the celtics are going to be very inconsistent.
Not to mention being without Leandro and Rondo in the line up.

Gotta win, it's that simple. I have hope in a rally to the 8th.

Pistons make the 8th seed over the Raptors due to some Tie Breaker, Calderon puts up a "U MAD?" pic on twitter.

I have hope. We are a better team than Milwaukee, Detroit, and Philly at this point. Tanking isn't even an option this season anyways.

We aren't making the playoffs, but it's fun to think otherwise.

I'd say this current team is a .500 ball club and thats exactly what we'll be
