We're 6.5 games out right now. I don't see that as being out of reach, especially with what amounts to 3 months left. Milwaukee hasn't played well and we've looked a lot better since the trade.

And who knows, maybe Boston or Atlanta gets cold and we have a shot at 7th. That would be ideal. We're 8 back of that spot, which seems unlikely, but you never know.

I'm not yet back on the playoffs bandwagon. I'll wait for tomorrows game against the Nuggets. If we someway somehow beat the Nuggets and Knicks, then I'll jump right back into the playoffs bandwagon.

The good news is, we're 3-2 with Gay. I'm hoping for the best. Go Raps

This thread is silly, really. This season is not one we will make the playoffs. I think that is pretty obvious. Even if we did, we get swept hard in the first round. 9th is obviously our destination, and you can thank management for that.

A 4-0 week would do wonders and maybe even get Rudy into player of the week contention.
But most importantly let's see how the refs are feeling this week lol

I would love to make the playoffs. The ACC crowd is a beauty. All the excitement, especially on realgm.

Playoffs experience will be very beneficial for the young guys + Casey. Add a few more pieces in the summer, and we're set for next year. Maybe a 4-5 seed next season.

We only have 2 games this week, Denver tomorrow, then new york wednesday. Would be tough to get both, 1-1 is solid

This thread should be stickied. People can talk about the playoffs here, and keep track of our enemies ( Bucks,Celtics,76ers, Pistons )

4-0 wasn't a reference to our schedule just in reference to both LBJ and Westbrook being named players of the week after bringing home their 4-0 records this past week.
1-1? If we're hoping for the 8th spot why not hope for 2-0?

Hahaha unfortunately they don't look at any consecutive 7 days for player of the week but I like the thought!

Im obviously hoping for 2-0 but realistically, going 1-1 wouldnt be bad vs the compeition we have. Al though, I could see the knicks being in vacation mode before allstar break and come out really sluggish and flat.

Posters going crazy about the prospect of getting swept by the Heat...we go for the playoffs means more Gray and AA, less Ross and JV. Would rather finish 10th and develop those two then make a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) playoff push and go with the vets.

Can the Celtics really survive without Rondo and Barbosa, leaving their guard spot extremely under-positioned?

And are the Bucks finally losing their momentum seeing as how they've dropped 4 in a row and are 3-7 in their last 10 games?

We'll know the answer to that in 2 weeks. If I'm BC, i'm going to make a regrettable short-term move that would put this team in a position to make the playoffs without paying any mind to the future. (Bargnani + Ross for J-Smooth who signs an extension!)

Nah if we make the playoffs it means JV and Ross have both stepped up and played well. Not sure if you noticed but Gray berely played the past 2 games and that will be a trend. Ross will also get his shot soon enough. So I do not agree at all with what you said. Also, playoff experience for this young team is PRICELESS

Playoffs are impossible. 10th or 9th is what we should be aiming for.
