Did anybody else catch the part where TL was talking about how he didn't want to use gimmicks to promote the Raptor brand? He wanted it to be about basketball. I saw it as a shot at the ridiculous "17 Reasons" campaign.

I finally watch the presser. I don't get the feeling that TL is going to re-brand the Raptors with a new name. It sounded more like just a refresh of the Raptors look. That's what I got from it anyways......when he talked about respecting the past/history of the Raptors.

TL and Masai already discussed the vision and they both agreed on it. He is being politically correct by saying "it will be Masai's decision and I will support him".
