his current play is excessively bad. is he still sick? no player can decline this fast.

the bigger problem with gay is that he tries to do to much. he the kinda of player who would excel in smaller role. i think his shooting is not so much out of selfishness but rather than trying to help the team. unfortunately he was tasked as being one of the leaders on this team, and he is trying to play a role similar to lebron.

casey should reduce his role on the offensive end, and run things more through lowry/dd. sub him out early, and have him play with the bench more often.

9/7/4/4 is a decent, workmanlike effort, so long as you don't check to see which categories those stats fall under.

to give Gay credit he only shot 12 times today. the bigger problem was 7 TOs.

gay is used like Lebron in our system. the offense is relying on him way too much. casey should increase lowry/dd touches. having no backup pg hurts though.

Other then shooting slump, Rudy hasnt been that bad .... He has been great on the boards, he has played great D and he has provided great leadership for this team. Gay struggle is allot like when Vince had that slump 2004, he will get over it...

Has he shot 50% in a game yet this season. I don't think so (don't have his game log handy) - if not he is at 14 games, and has 5 games to go to the team record of Jalen Rose.

He's shot like complete crap the entire season… he looks like he lost his explosiveness getting off his feet… I'm really concerned. DeMar on the other hand, looks much improved… we need to move Rudy… Masai work your magic! I'd love to bring in Luol Deng… he'd be a much better fit beside DD.

On what planet do you live in when you think Rudy would net Deng? Why do the Bulls do this? Rudy has being hot garbage, and Deng is having better year. Even before this year you could make the arguement Luol is the better basketball player.

What makes moving Rudy impossible now is the fact he is getting paid $17M this year and possibly $19M next season. Before start of this year it was assumed Rudy would opt out for longer contract at lower base. However due to his horrible play he would be better off opting in and hoping for better season next year.

Face it. Rudy will stick around. No upcoming team is going to give assets for him, and contenders would not touch his large contract and subsequent luxury tax implications.

I don't know what game you're watching but he's struggling with a lot more than just his shot.

No he hasn't shot over 50% yet, who knows if he ever will.

He's also turning the ball over a lot this season.

Maybe his eyes got worse instead of better. I think that can happen with Lasick.
