$200,000,000 in payroll and tax payments.

Man, it will feel good to end them.

Why couldn't we have rested everyone after securing the division?

Because this organization does absolutely everything wrong.

I am happy we're playing the NETS, but it makes no sense to play them when you could have rested guys.

Still would have played Brooklyn regardless as the 4/5. Kidd was dead set on facing the Raptors in the first round.

Cause both Nets and Celtics are in massive holes starting the 4th quarter

Time to just accept it and get pumped for game 1 this Saturday!

If we beat the Nets... for the rest of this era we can claim we beat the most expensive basketball team ever assembled and we can then say the only reason we lost afterward was because we went up against the eventual champs.

Not bad for year 1 of an era that could last another 3 or 4. Just have to start with Brooklyn first.

It doesn't matter. Brookyln would have done whatever it took to face us. Whether its winning or losing

You cant control that.

Great coach but all those injuries the Bulls have had over the last few years are really on him. Don't know how a guy can be such a basketball genius and have zero idea how to manage minutes.

Just like the 2006/2007 season, which has been almost identical to this one in terms of success and surprise, it seems it is going to end with a loss to Jason Kidd.

I honestly think the Nets resting as much as they have could end up backfiring. They will now have 48 hours to get their starters into peak mode without any warm up games.

Yes exactly. How is he blaming the Raptors? Even if we lose tonight, we still face the Nets. If you're referring to the previous few games, well if we had lost those, there would have been a good chance we'd still face the Nets, since they're basically positioning themselves to play us..

Not even thinking about Miami (who would crush the Raptors in 4-5 games whether in the East SFs or the ECF). The Raptors should consider themselves extremely fortunate now if they even get to the 2nd round.

Well the Nets get the matchup they wanted and they got to rest their guys. Lovely.
