GV is hilarious. Sounds like he encouraged the DeRozan scowl face

Yeah GV's interviews are great. Always seems like he wants to be there and not just doing it because he has to and can't wait to be out of there. Love his answers, he isn't regurgitating the same script that his media handlers are dishing out either.

There is a 1 day break between this game and the next which is on Sunday. Game 4 is key. If there is a game we can steal at Brooklyn its game 4.

I'd rather steal both, personally.

Won't happen. 7/8 teams have already lost homecourt advantage. It's really hard to win 2 straight games at home in the playoffs let alone 2 straight on the road. Our best bet is to steal game 4.

I just went across all 5600777 pages of your game 2 thread, and it was hilarious. Starts off with Derozan being garbage, ends with him being a hero. Reminds me of the Bobcats board about Walker, except 90000 less post. Good stuff.

Majority of number of viewers for both Games 1 and 2 have probably come from TSN, not to mention YES network (local station for BKN) broke a viewer record for playoff games for game 2 as well. So if anyone is watching this game, it's from their local stations. It's an exciting series for sure, but the people who are tuning in are fans of either team, while a series like OKC/Memphis will garner attention and be aired on TNT/ESPN/etc because people on a NATIONAL (if you stick with just the US) are tuning in regardless of their location.

Ross will really be key in this game because if he can knock down his threes it will force the Nets to change the way they defend. As Undefeated pointed out in his thread the Nets have been dropping back on screens and denying driving lanes. Some threes dropping can really help to spread out their defense and open up some driving lanes

afaic, any legit Bk basketball fan is still a Knicks fan. i dont even know who fills their crowd , prob some sushi posers who arent even native Brooklynites (hell they might be Leafs fans!!).

their arena might become 'hostile' five or ten yrs from now but that entire fanbase is fake tough today, all talk and no action ... great fit for KG

It is what it is. 8 series going on, Raptors/Nets series is last in the TV coverage pecking order. Keep in mind NBATV only gets used in the 1st round. 2nd round and beyond there's only 4 series to schedule, and everyone's able to get on national tv from that point.

I sometimes reread the game threads for the laughs. It's the same for every single game thread, you could feel the emotion. Hilarious
