He'll cut down easily come training camp. To properly build muscle you have to be in a caloric surplus which means you're going to put on some fat.

Good point we need to be worried what kind of mental state he is in for next year. Was this a one time thing or a larger concern. Convenient that we can't see all of his fingers. What is he hiding?

Looks fine to me for the off season.

It's not like JV is a naturally ripped guy. He was always going to turn into a thicker guy as his body matured.

He'll be in shape while he's representing his country in Spain. FIBA is very important to him and his countrymen. He'll be in better shape than guys who aren't playing summer league/representing their countries (read: Hansbrough, Hayes, Fields, etc.). There's no need to worry about Jonas. He's got this.
