Added attitude for the Raps.

Lowry, James, Hans and Jonas on the court at the same time would be annoying and intense to play against win or loose.

I kinda feel bad. Leo won't be able to use his favourite phrase this year: "Don't leave your feet on defence! You will never block a jump shot!" Jackass.

His timing and hand-eye coordination is impeccable. He's really not that much of a leaper but he's able to block even the longest of shooters like Durant. Looking forward to his presence on this team.

JJ is a very useful player and even more so now that he has settled into his role in the NBA...got size, length, and is a solid athlete as a big wing...he works hard out there now, hustles, plays physical, aggressive and really fights on D, rebounds and blocks, can even handle and pass it quite well, 4 dimes per 36min last year is solid

too bad theres no O to balance it all out, if JJ could just hit the 3 he would even be one of best role players in nba...but its not like hes gonna play that role with us...if he plays to his strengths like last year, this is another great pick up by masai, covers 1 of our main weaknesses last year, if we had JJ we beat nets
What is basketball.....basketball is life!

Cautiously optimistic for JJ. Would love 8 & 5 with good D & no drama.

I'll take 6 n 5 1.5 with some external drama with opposing team players.

The signing of James Johnson was the key offseason addition.
He wasn't a player I even considered could be a Raptor but Masai signed him obviously with agreement between Casey and JJ to play nice together.
He adds toughness to the teams as someone already mentioned Lowry, JJ, Jonas and Hansbrough playing together in stretches would bring fear by the opposition.
JJ if he plays defense 1st and gets most of his points in the paint brings another dimension really no need to hit the 3. Most of the time he will be playing with Vasquez, Williams and Patterson who are quality 3 point shooters.

Like the depth additions of Cherry & Hamilton which would require buy-outs of either Hayes and Fields or both.
