Nothing, just like a little bit of alcohol. When a person becomes dependent on it, and it starts to effect his life in negitive ways, then there is a problem. Well, a problem if I am his employer, family member, or friend.

Everything in moderation, and with the mind set it doesn't ruin other parts of life.

Truthfully, if I am an athlete, I am avoiding drinking and smoking during the season if I can either way. If you want to be great, it takes dedication.

Weed can help with post game recovery as it makes active rectory such as foam rolling and trigger point therapy much easier as the muscles are a lot more pliable. There's also a greater mind-muscle connection.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with smoking during the season in moderation.. Personal preferrence though right.

Well, except for the fact that it constitutes criminal conduct, and if caught he would certainly be suspended from the team. So, there's that.

He exceeds "a little" but quite a large margin.

I am happy he is back, till he screws up.. Then I knew all along.

Having JJ back is key to us continuing that push to be a top 5 defensive team in the league. His skills on the offensive end can also help as he's a slasher who will rebound and push the ball as well as find the open man. I'm excited to have him back just so long as he remains cool headed and does what's best for the team.

22 MPG, 6 PPG, 4.5RPG, 1 steal, 1 block, 45% FG. He could become the "Tony Allen" that we've always wanted; toughness, hustle, grit, nasty and not trying to do too much on the offensive end, playing within himself.

Huge under the radar signing that helps with a glaring weakness of ours, defending larger 3's. I have my concerns that he'll be able to play within the offense without forcing the issue, but he's a great wing defender and will probably see key minutes defensively in games. Solid signing.

There are things he does on the court that very few players can do. Ya I said it.

For example, blocking consecutive 3 point attempts from Green and Ginobili. It's so impressive.

He blocked 2 Durant threes in the same game.

Seems like the kind of player to get completely misused by Casey. I hope I'm wrong, he can really give us another dimension if used properly.

James LeBron Stopper Johnson...or so I hope. lol

Definitely an underrated move that should pay off well during the season and hopefully deep into the post season.

I love how nobody really makes topics on this forum anymore except drunks and teens (yes I am including myself). Anyway, ya man, JJ second time around. Big fan of his game, great advanced stats, only prob is mentAl so who knows, right? Hope he's matured somewhat and can just focus on putting the ball through the the rim.

I'm worried that most of the blocks he got while on the Grizzlies would be counted as fouls on the Raptors

If you're ok with him not also running up sand dunes, then I am too.

I like the James Johnson signing very much. Obviously he'll be our backup SF but he'll also take on those tough defensive matches against the bigger SF like LeBron and Carmello.

Besides his really great defense- the big thing he did last year was take much more efficient shot selection. That was always the thing about his game that drove me nuts. But last year in Memphis' system his long 2% dropped from 25% to only 7%. That's a huge adjustment to his game that he made and he was so much more effective as a result- his TS% was 5% higher than his career average.

If he plays within himself, keeps clean and shoots efficiently he will be a huge addition to the team.

I always questioned why we let him go for peanuts then turn around and give Landry Fields that big contract at the same time when James Johnson is probably the better player. Victim of Colangelo's crazies in his last year. I'm not even so mad about what Colangelo's done over the years but that year-long stretch beginning with Terrence Ross pick was just so disastrous. One of the worst stretches by a GM ever.

Handsbrough? He may be a little nutty on the court but not enough to get him in trouble off of it.
