An interesting tid-bit: I can't remember the exact figures, but, there was a study done and men with beards are considered 40% more capable/knowledgeable and 17% less attractive to women.

So it's bit of a trade off. I fear the knowledgeable/capable numbers are going to come down slightly as women figure out that hipsters are starting to grow them, and don't actually have any "man" skills.I might start an accredited bearded man "basics" course just to curb this trend. So someone can request to see your beard card, and if you haven't passed the "basics" course, they can mock you. But also, gives you the chance to produce your "advanced" course card, and women will swoon. It's literally the only thing keeping my wife around. If she didn't need me to chop firewood, lay flooring, build custom furniture, bring food home by hunting and fishing, and lift objects one man has no business lifting, I would be a single man.
