Leo is like that drunk uncle that you can't really stand but you do since he was with you from the beginning and is a part of the family so you deal with it. To me Akil is by far the most annoying and awkward interviewer I have seen. His little tv show where he brings in his "homies" to talk ball is just brutal.

Add Paul Jones and Eric Smith to the list of Drunken Uncles as well.

A lot of the other guys are more annoying and or less knowledgeable than Rautins. But since Leo is inescapable, he gets my vote. Also, Leo never responds to any of my tweets.

That list is a who's who of the mutable. Gee, why doesn't fan interest translate into TV numbers? Streaming sites must love our "personalities."

I think he suffered from the Raptors going through the most depressing seasons in franchise history just before he left. He really dove into the catch phrases and wore them out.

Chuck brought a lot of excitement during the peak VC years and was always keen to interact with fans.

All this thread has done is remind me of how bad the Raptors broadcasting crew is.

I don't know who Akil is but I sure as hell can't stand Leo.

Most of my memories were Chuck and his catch phrases. He made the games fun to watch even when the talent on the court was horrendous. Most of the fans here should attribute part of our existent fan base through those harsh years to him. Even when we sucked he kept us entertained.

Would people seriously rather listen to Sherman Hamilton than Leo? At least Leo says something insightful SOMETIMES. Sherm on the other hand has mastered the art of talking without actually saying ANYTHING.

I feel like Leo has actually become tolerable to me. He's not as bad as he used to be. I even enjoy those fast break sessions on TSN. Jack on the other hand has gotten real crabby lately. He's been complaining way too much. Akil always reminds me of the intern who won't go away. I don't see Kat enough for her to irk me.

That said, Matt Devlin is the GOAT. He's absolutely hilarious. If you watch any YouTube highlights of our team, a lot of commenters say they love Devlin's energy.

Eric Smith is awesome. I don't understand why he hasn't had a chance to be a bigger part of Raptors media (e.g. replace Leo). Fairly humorous, great radio voice and actually knows his ****. Also like that he has been around for a long time so he's attached to raps history.
