They are both very good, but unless one is considerably better than the other - and this applies to comparisons at other positions - you dance with the one you brought because fit and chemistry can only improve as they play more together.

Easily Lowry.. The man is just so good defensively, has a killer mentality and can take a game over when we need him to

Regardless of whoever has whichever preference, these guys are both insanely close. Anyone who says Lowry is the clear choice is kidding themselves because Dragic was all NBA 3rd team for a reason and the only reason he wasn't an allstar is because 5 of the 6 guards on the all NBA teams were western conference point guards, and the other guard was a western conference shooting guard. But anybody who thinks Dragic would have been the same player for the Raptors or Lowry would have been the same player for the Rockets are dealing in hypotheticals that are so close already that it really does make it a moot point. There really is no wrong answer here, and at this point the Raptors should be extremely happy they have Lowry.

He is a more efficient scorer, better passer when he needs to be a facilitator, and his defense isn't bad either. Lowry is on the same tier but Goran is slightly better.

I also think Dragic would take Dragic, but then again Lowry would probably take Lowry so it kind of really evens out if you know what I'm saying

People don't understand team chemistry. Lowry in the suns, Dragic in the raptors would kick both teams out of the playoffs!

Maybe Dragic and DD would have bonded the same way Lowry and DD have, but it's very hard to imagine.

Basically, Lowry is exactly what this team needed - perfect amount of offense, defense, leadership and swagger.

That's a good point. Skill wise they are both great talents, but Lowry is probably a better fit for this team.

Dragic is nice, but he isn't what this particular team needs. They're sort of equal in terms of talent, but the intangibles puts Lowry on top.

Are you guys serious...Lowry all day. The guy is a dog straight up. Dragic is a little puppy that gets pushed around by Sasha Vujacic

Dragic is clearly better, not by much but he is. That being said, I think Lowry is a better fit for this team and Caseys coaching style

I would echo what others have said. Dragic is great and all but for this team, in this city, Lowry is the man.

Lowry/Dragic/Wall all about equal as PGs but Wall is Max and Dragic is a bargain this year but will be 15 million next. Lowry is the best bang for the buck but love all 3.

Doesn't Dragic have way less miles because he spent so much of his early career backing up Steve Nash? I'll probably take him just because of that.

How are people saying this is close? If someone can prove me wrong, Lowry is the better defender, had more assists, boards, more steals, only 7 less blocks ( last year ) only reason why dragic had more points is because of there system, they do NOT play defence, which wins championships, not offence. So if you ask me Lowry without a consideration of goran.

Houston could have kept both. Think about that
