Ed Davis should really start. He's their best interior defender and their second best offensive big man after Carlos Loozer. Jordan Hil is a glorified garbageman.

I don't know if this is further evidence of the Red Sea parting for the Raptors, but the Magic's Victor Oladipo has to have facial surgery on Saturday, and would seem unlikely to play in the Raps' games against Orlando Nov 1 and Nov 11.

According to Ballstreams the T-Wolves are playing two games tonight. That's ambitious.

This guy... I tell you, Houston might have hit the lottery with him. As soon as he's acclimated with NBA speed and gets into a better shape, he could make some noise. Great BBIQ, reminds me of a Diaw/Ginobili hybrid.

Lakers fans are quite high on Ed already and he has some good chemistry on the floor with Lin.

Bless everyone that drafted Jeremy Lin in fantasy. He's looked fantastic not being used as just a spot up shooter and he looks more confident than ever without McHale bullying him.

I can't wait to see Kobe and LeBron go head-to-head again. It's been a while.

Here's an appetizer:

Watching the Suns-Clippers game from this past Wednesday, it really does look like Blake Griffin worked on improving his jumper. He's nearly automatic from 15-feet with those no-dribble Js on the PnP. Dude is going to be harder to defend this year.

We're about 34 hours away from opening night, on Tuesday night

Magic @ Pelicans - 8pm
Mavs @ Spurs - 8pm
Rockets @ Lakers - 10:30pm

I got some interest in each of these games, so my Tuesday night is pretty booked up..
- I got Payton at the end of my fantasy bench right now and I wanna see how he does. Plus Aaron Gordon is gonna make some highlight reals.
- How good will the Mavs be? Can Parsons take the next step in a bigger role? Are the Spurs finally out of gas?
- Are the Rockets better with Ariza (also on my fantasy team)? Also, KOBE
