He has looked absolutely terrible this entire preseason. Displays no handles — requiring a push-off or a screen to get by his man. Doesn't play any defense, really reminding me of Jose Calderon with his blown assignments. On top of that now — he has displayed an awful shot-selection, shooting 22% over the last two games while turning the ball over 5 times a game.

With the recent bench upgrade, I can't help but to feel that this is the real drop off this season. Remarkable that he would consider himself a starter in the league. Guess we found a new replacement for John Salmons to go off on in the game threads.

Anyone else becoming really frustrated with his play?

Update: A lot of people suggested being patient and waiting for the regular season to start — and so far he's been awful; in December he has shot 25% from three and 37% from the field. Now he doesn't play any defence, recently has began dribbling exclusively with his back to the opponent, taking poor shots out of the rhythm of the offence. Yet, he continues to get minutes down the stretch over the likes of Ross, Fields, Johnson, and even Williams. Can't believe the playing time he receives and the lack of criticism he hears from this board. In my opinion, he is the one piece that needs to go.

Why don't you relax. He'll be fine after he adjusts to playing with Lou Williams.

His contributions in the playoffs will not be forgotten after 2 preseason games.

If you been watching the preseason games you can see he has the ability still. Just needs to find his shot again. Once they start going in again he will be pretty good.
Looking for a new signature. Currently, still evaluating.

Vasquez is playing the same way he was when he first arrived here.

Give him a couple weaks to find his touch - you can tell he is in better physical shape after the offseason but he isn't in game shape (lean enough yet) nor has he found his touch around the bucket yet.

Just some cobwebs, give it time

He's playing poorly in the preseason but he seems to play good when the stakes are high

Did you see what happened to the guy that made the thread about not liking what Lou Williams provided?

Don't be that guy. It's preseason dude.

People play outside their roles in preseason. You saw it today. Ross is a guy that should be the 4th or 5th option on a team, and GV won't be shooting the ball like that when the regular guys are in. Preseason doesn't mean too much.

Nice when your bench beats another teams starters.
