Baseball playoffs are amazing for all of the same reasons regular season games suck.

All of the pauses between pitches, each foul off, each potential error ... that stuff comes with the tension of possible momentum altering plays. The stuff that caused boredom all of a sudden causes anxiety and anticipation. Good stuff.

Like that walk-off, you think about the possibility and then the pace of the game allows that thought to build and then, all of a sudden it happens. It was pretty amazing.

Though I don't think anything will ever top Joe Carter's Series' clinching shot. That was pure madness.

playoffs in anysport are amazing, but what i hate about mlb playoffs is the breaks between games. part of baseball is dealing with pitcher fatigue, having pitching depth. but all these breaks between games and series mitigate that. All season you use 5 starters to get to playoffs and then you can get by with 3. game 1 of the world series is on the 21st. 4 full days off. and then add the 2 scheduled days off during the series.

No, I wanted the A's to win it all. I hate the Giants, dislike the orioles,cardinals, and envious of the royals. **** all of them. Don't care who wins anymore.
