Will the feed just be silent considering they don't know what network the game will be on?

Pathetic.

I'd be surprised if it's over a 100 people.

They will absolutely fill the square.

Part of me thinks it's brilliant since it keeps the younger/ college fan very engaged since their demo skews that way and that demo currently can't afford tickets as much as the older audience (ala Hockey).

The other part of me wishes they'd stop doing this every game so those guys would buy some of my season tickets I'm trying to get rid of :).

Raps fans DGAF about "official" names. I mean, we renamed Maple Leaf Square in April without anyone's permission.

So I don't expect Raps fans to give a flying **** about it being called Ford Zone or whatever it is called now.

It won't be anything like during the playoffs, but the section under the big screen should be packed at the very least imo

9000+ people woke up early on a Sunday morning 3 days ago just to watch a Raptors practice.

I think there'll be a decent number of people. Not playoffs calibre obviously. But I can see it being over a 100.

Can they just start publicly referring to it as Jurassic Park? Would that get them into lawyery territory?

It's the perfect name, even they still keep its 7 other official names.

Then they shouldn't have picked a place with an LCBO at the corner.

No I refuse to call it that. Ford sucks, screw these corporate names. I hated the previous name too because it included "Maple Leafs" in it. I know it has nothing to do with the team, but many people, including myself, might have assumed they were related at first.

Jurassic Park is what us Raptor fans will call it. Its our place.

More than that. It was about half full. Which is more than 4000 I think.

lower bowl is about 13000 seats. the place was at most 40% full. Hence at most 5000.

5000 is still a significantly larger amount then 100.

It will be full. I know lots of people that are already making plans to go down for the home opener, not to mention it will be reading week, so lots of students will be off of school and free to attend the home opener.

It's a great idea, but i hope this is the last time we see it till the POs.

home opener will probably be filled like game 3 of the playoff series.

5000 is large but it would have been more if it wasn't for the ttc delays and the marathon

Maybe I'm being pessimistic, but it's the first game of the season. If this is going to happen every game this season it will be fun to watch.
