Throwback Jersey & Alumni

Not sure if mentioned on TV, but an ad ran at the ACC that said the throwback jerseys will be available on the 7th, and the alumni series will also start on that day. That is a game vs Washington. It may be the first game we wear the purple alternates as well.

The Raptors Store didn't have any current player throwbacks (only McGrady and Carter) so I got the feeling that the purple pinstripes will be available for sale on that same day.

Thought I should pass this along. Please move the thread if it belongs somewhere else or has already been discussed.

According to the ad on raptors.com, current players won't be available until early 2015.

I believe we will be wearing the purple every friday game. Also think those games will all have alumni attending. Even heard something about autograph opportunities with alumni but not sure on that. Those games are the 20th anniversary nights.

The first retro game is nov 7th. Realsports won't get the jerseys until early 2015, it says it on their website.

I was at the game yesterday.

Realsports has....

purple throwbacks (adidas swingman) in Carter, McGrady, Camby for $ 129.99 (but not the best quality, there not exactly how those jersey were back in the day, material & the raptor graphic logo on the front are different).

white throwback (mitchell & ness) in carter only for $ 299.99, its expensive yes. But the jersey is EXACTLY like how they were back in the day (I have an authentic from 1998 and its exactly the same).

Bought a Derozan jersey from ali express for $20. Got it in the mail today. Definitely worth the $20.

Link for those interested. They got Lowry too. Yes they are fake but I don't think anybody will be able to tell.

Looks great for the price. But isn't the "e" supposed to be half the size? Kinda like how the "c" in McGrady was?

I was about to post in this topic saying I saw someone at the game yesterday with a throwback DeRozan jersey so they must already be out...I guess it was just a cheap jersey of very nice quality :lol:

BTW you can tell it's fake because adidas throwback jerseys currently have the "crown" logo, and the raptor logo is also stitched on (Although the Mitchell & Ness authentics do have a screen printed Raptor on them)
