8 Pts, two-block, two-rebound in 11 minute. Yes it was pre season, yes he is not nearly as familiar with the defensive rotation as TH. But sweet lord, we have a 7 foot, 7'7" wingspan, with experience playing international ball...and were not even giving him a trail run?

Why we are having Fields active on the roster is just questionable. The Tyler Hansbrough/Patterson front court is not working. This idea that its mobile is just laughable

Keep him on the active roster to try him for the possible blowouts. See what the man can offer in a second unit pairing with Patterson. Enough of this crap-the team is weak in frontcourt depth, and we have a possible blocking/defensive force that the team has not played a minute. He actually has potential to be a part of this team for years.

I can understand Bruno. He's green as the grass. But Lucas Nogueira has played international ball, has the physical tools, that how can the team justify not trying him? Win now? The Tyler/Patterson "experience" is not helping any win now.

(Greg Stiemsma is even worth a try, but the TH/Patterson as the main backup front court needs to stop)

According to bball reference, Hansbrough/Patterson are a cumulative +47 through 135 minutes. It's the 7th best pair of Raptor players.

Nogueira shouldn't play ahead of Hansbrough/Patterson but I think Stiemsma and Hayes are the ones who belong in street clothes before Bebe.

If our bench was coughing up leads, I'd be totally behind you on this but, Hansbrough, Patterson, Hayes and Johnson have been pretty serviceable for the front court so far. Bebe and Bruno are long-term pieces. It would have been nice if they got some playing time in that Philly game but, other than that, our games have been too close to throw either of them out there.

Casey sees everyone of his players perform during practice, hell of a lot more than what we see in game action, the minutes are likely an indication of their performance/ability during those practices. I am also attributing Val sitting out big chunks of 4th Q to the same reasoning.

Hans, and Pat have actually been doing really well against teams. I don't really want a 11 man rotation.

Some of you guys are foolish. Dude isn't going to get off the bench on a good team. He is raw as f'ck. He is a turn-over machine waiting to happen. He isn't ready. They should send him to the D-league.

Don't need to play him a lot but for some match ups having twin towers in the paint could cover up a lot of mistakes when DD or Lowery can't seem to stay in front of their guys .

Yeah, Casey runs a strict meritocracy. It's why he gave Rudy Gay such a primary role in our offense.

He will get his chance this year. Injuries happen throughout the year, he just has to be ready and take advantage. Bebe and Bruno are not for right now they are for the future.
