People hating on the Hawks are nuts. Of all top teams in the league, Hawks deserve the least hate. And their Twitter account exemplifies how social media should be run.

Yep even without DD is an example. I mean our players were burned out by the end of it because we had no one to fill his minutes but we played a better brand of basketball.

We did not.

They play a beautiful style of basketball by sharing the ball, I will not hate.
I think he's either going to stay, or leave.

They still have better talent than Toronto.

And much better coached.

I don't know about that. We couldn't play defence and if Lowry hadn't gone into MVP mode we wouldn't have won more than a few games.

I was watching the Hawks Thunder game and saw a "We the South" sign in the crowd. Almost same font too.

The NBA is funny because you can have long stretches of the season where you are invincible, no injuries, great d, amazing ball movement, etc. But, it can change overnight. The Hawks really haven't had any adversity, and as you win more games the less free you play. They have great starters and a functional supporting cast, but let's see what happens when they lose a game or two, or deal with an injury.

And to the people who say they don't have a superstar, Al Horford may not have the notoriety, but he is one of the best two way frontcourt players in the League. If not for a couple weird injuries he would be better known. He anchors that team and without they take a huge fall.

If Golden State wasnt having the year theyre having the NBA would have a real tough time not giving Ferry GM of the year, or a tough time giving it to him depending on how it played out. They have another solid option though with GS (especially with GS playing in the better conference) so dont have to worry about that decision.

Hawks are everything as a team that I wish we were, as far as their playing style goes.

Great ball movement, unselfish play, surrounded by great shooters, a coach who learned under the best and a ton of underrated guys on that team.

With that said, I can't see them getting past Chicago or even Cleveland when it really matters, in the post season.
