It really depends what you think about him.
If you and the league thinks he's a scrub, then the min or the biannual exception.
If you think, on the other hand, that he can perform better for a better coach then signing him to MLE type contract would be fair. And in the era of a new cap, that contract will be a boon for a 3+D player who can occasionally go off, scoring wise.

Suitable would be saying $5m or 7m for x amount of years. Saying child support isn't even funny
