Coaching candidates discussion thread

Post#1 » by MFS » Wed Apr 22, 2015 3:32 am

Tom Thibodeau is apparently out as Bulls coach regardless of the postseason outcome according to various reports throughout the season. Bulls management have fallen out of favour with him perhaps the potential opportunity to coach the Raptors fraudulent elite backcourt would tempt him to come to Toronto over Orlando or other opportunities. Of course Cavs might fire Blatt and thus ends our hunt for Thibs.

Casey again says, "I don't think someone dominated us, I wouldn't use that word."

Amir's ankles are crying in a corner at the thought of playing for Thibs.

Amir is a FA, and maybe we need someone with better ankles.

Amir is a FA.

Why exactly would his ankles cry?

Thibs plays ICE defence, which means the defense allows long twos and contested threes, as opposed to the Raptors with their blitzing and constant motion on defence.

Personally, I think Amir needs to get away from Casey and his defensive system...just to save his ankles.

Because Thibs runs his players to the ground.

He made JL3 and Augustin look like D Rose. Vasquez would be next if Thibodeau is the coach.

Thibodeau would be amazing. But, we're going to need some ironmen players. Which means, Amir's gotta go, because his ankles will not hold up to that play-style/work.

then doesn't that mean bring in a player who doesn't have bad ankles and let Amir walk?

Haha - the fraudulent elite backcourt.

The Toronto Raptors are like a giant multi level marketing pyramid scheme. We all just get suckered into the system but in the end the guys at the top (MLSE) are the one's getting the last laugh and milking profits off of our false hope and stupidity.

Honestly, he would coach up a great D, reign in our guards, and utilize our bigs. Check, check, and check in my books.

Mike Malone would be a good hire.
Even though it was for about 20 games, he had the Kings of all teams playing above .500

Return to Toronto Raptors
