New starting SF and PF next season?

Post#1 » by Potential » Tue May 19, 2015 7:44 pm

Who will it be?

should we target seraphin to be our starting PF? He can take over games at any time and can improve our team drastically.

Kevin Seraphin is prepared to leave the Washington Wizards this offseason in free agency in order to receive a larger opportunity.

Let's say we go this route
Lowry or (young PG via trade)
DeRozan
Tobias Harris
Seraphin/Patterson/Al Jefferson (whoever is realistic)
JonasV

Not a bad starting lineup to improve and compete next season. Thoughts?

Demarre Carroll should be our target.

Seraphin boasts some impressive stats; starting him would likely secure a top3 pick.

JV/Whoever
Amir/2Pat
DMC/Bruno or Draft pick or Vet guy
DD/Ross
Lowry/GV

Middleton, Harris and Draymond Green for the SF spot.
Jones, Gibson, Faried for the PF spot.

Jones to start at the 4, Carroll at the 3, not winning a championship with this, but we might at least win a round.

I'm suddenly intrigued with the idea of Al Jefferson. He would change the dynamic of this team. CHA probably isn't going to give him up though, seems like they'd be more interested in moving Stephenson first.

Lowry/Lin
G. Green/Vasquez
W. Chandler/Carroll/J Johnson/Bruno/Daniels
Lyles/Patterson/Teletovic?
Jonas/Amir/Koufos?/Bebe

Edit: Was thinking Gerald Green instead of Danny Green. I doubt we can get all three G. Green, W. Chandler, Carroll. Maybe only two of them.

Lets bring Bargnani back. He will be our PF :). At 5-6 mil a year it will be a good signing.

I'd like a combination of Corey Brewer and Montrezl Harrell. For that to happen Harrell would have to outplay Patterson but I could see it happening to keep defensive focus for the starters. Brewer is a great fit as a starter. His quick feet and length will make him very useful on defense, plus he can push a break and hit the occasional outside shot. I think having an extra ballhandler is important with Lowry and Derozan.
