Not really sure how the Jazz fell to #3.

Also, the Celtics do not have a great young core.

But but...I thought we had the worst core ever? Somethings not right here...I mean we had basically an 0-82 team if you count all the fake wins.

Surprised to see the Magic so low.

Things are looking up for the Pelicans. Already a playoff team in the West with a young, budding superstar.

I wonder how they define "Young"?
If you include DD, Lowry and Carroll? Sure...
If you do you may aswell include Lebron Love and Irving.

Also since we arent in the top 10 of current cores and we are 8th best in young cores that puts as at minimum 18th / 30th in terms of future + current!

aka treadmill.

8. Toronto Raptors (71.2)
Key young players: Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright, Bismack Biyombo, Cory Joseph, Terrence Ross, Bruno Caboclo

The metrics love Delon Wright, though in reality he'll be in direct competition with Joseph for court time. Still, the signing of Biyombo was one of the unsung terrific moves of the summer. He joins Caboclo as young guys who won't even necessarily be asked to play big roles in the short term, but have a bunch of potential to be big producers down the road.

OK...

Demar Ross Val Biyombo Wright Bebe Bruno Powell Joseph are all youngish good prospects.

Also I think we are definitely in the top 15 of top current cores... If anything that would average out to about 10th in terms of future and current cores.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

lol its true! Going by this if all other teams get older and worse and these teams cores all get better according to plan we are the 8th best team eventually....

I am not hating on the team merely stating that having the 8th best young core is not a great feat, I would say it is actually a bad thing since we don't have a current top 10 core either.

Notice how were the only 3 years straight around 50 win team in the top 10.

Winning and rebuilding at the same time.

Not to mention 4 firsts in the next 2 years.

One of those likely a top 10 pick.

We are in a very good situation.
