Norm Powell Player Comparisons

The Raps just signed their 2nd round pick Norm Powell. He finished the SL as a first team all-star.

What are the chances he breaks out as a Trevor Ariza/Khris Middleton/ Paul Milsap (impact 2nd rounders) of the NBA this season? That would round out the Raps rotation pretty well. Did anyone get a chance to see him? What are his comparables?

He's nothing like those guys you listed. Maybe more like Fred Jones? His long arms give him some potential to be better than Fred Jones if he can finish a little better, but like Jones, he would be worlds better if he could figure out how to shoot better in the NBA and improved on his passing game. He's still young, so he just might. If he does, he could really be a very good attacking guard.

Young Tony Allen, with a touch more polish on offense.

Bruno looks amazing without the brows. Pow needs a special pair.

I don't think the DWade comparisons are that far fetched. He has a lot of skills that can get you on the court early in your career, but he has a lot of room for growth too. Seems to have that elusive "feel for the game". Should at least push the incumbent guards in training camp.

This whole thing about him not being able to shoot, I don't see it, as a self proclaimed shooter and shooting coach, his shot looks good couple simple changes I watched him bang back to back threes held his follow starred it down and splash I think he will be a better version of terrence
