James Johnson headed to the Maritimes....

Post#1 » by OakleyDokely » Thu Jul 30, 2015 2:58 pm

....cock that joint back and bang it on some lobster.

Toronto Raptors power forward James Johnson will be one of the celebrities appearing in a charity basketball game next month at the Canada Games Centre.

The inaugural Bench Bullying celebrity basketball game will be held on Aug. 9 at the Clayton Park facility. Former Halifax Rainmen standout Eric Crookshank is the founder of Bench Bullying, a charitable grassroots organization dedicated to spreading awareness of the effects of bullying and supporting those who have been affected.

I think he got the East Coast confused with the West Coast.. he's going to be very disappointed when he samples the local product.

Casey wouldn't put him on the floor when we needed a sf to guard peirce. He was the only one who had sf size.

Theres no chance he gets playing time now, when we actually have a sf.

This is awesome I'll definitely go see it especially since JJ is one of my favorite Raptors of all time, and it's only a few minutes away. Maybe I'll get a chance to smoke a blunt with him  .

Really, you think so? That's flattering. I don't exactly know why people identify so closely with the place they are from, but I've been around the world and Scotia is always the best place for me in the end. Obviously there's a comfort level because of my upbringing in this culture, but I often wonder if other people across the nation look at this place the same way. Kudos to you sir.

I've never met nicer people than I did in Halifax. What a great town to party in.

I was talking east coast in general. Especially anywhere oceanside.

I have family in NL & NS, so I visit every couple of years.

My in laws are out west in the mountains. The mountains are nice too, but nothing beats the ocean.

For what it's worth, he probably heard Snoop Dogg was also on the East coast not too long ago...and people were offering up smoke and drink, left right and centre...

Casey will make a surprise appearance.. demand to take over the coaching duties, and give JJ a total of 6 mins of playin time if its a blowout.

Return to Toronto Raptors
