I keep reading the Raptor haters downplaying this loss because the Cavs were missing "3 starters"

Both teams were missing their starting 5. While Mozgov provides rim protection, JV is much more important to what the Raps do offensively than Mozgov who never gets a set run for him.

Irving has been injury plagued his whole career. Rough rocks. That's the NBA. If you can't stay healthy - nobody gives a damn.

Shump? How is Shump a starter? Has he EVER been a starter in Cleveland?? He was a starter on a horrible NYK team.

Plus, the Cavs have 2 of the highest paid forwards in the game on the same team in Thompson and Love.

Surely if the Raps can insert Bismack F'n Biyombo to eat some 5 minutes - then Mr Hold Out can do the same for TIM O FEY.

This Cavs team is still a team that has LBJ - still, at WORST a top 3 player in the league - and one of the top 5 forwards in the league.

Stop making excuses for other teams.

If Lowry and Demar were out and the Raps lost nobody in Cleveland would be saying "Well we got away with our crappy style of play cuz they were missing their best players" .... They'd say "PEACE Raptors. See you next time"

Love, #2 of the big three, wasn't injured and his defense was horrid. The Raptors game-planned to attack him and it worked. Smith looked terrible as well. The Cavs do have problems beyond the injuries.
