Terrence Ross & His Future As A Raptor

Post#1 » by Risk101 » Wed Apr 27, 2016 1:03 am

It was a mistake extending him and he's proven it with his lack of focus.

Jacking up contested 3 after contested 3. He missed 4 times refusing to pass the ball everytime he touched it. He no longer defends letting Stuckey and C.j get into the lanes at will. HE HAD AN OFFENSIVE INTERFERENCE ON A 3 POINT SHOT!

He needs to go.

He has BEEN the new Bargnani. His little Amber Rose explosion does nothing for me to change my opinion of him. He can EASILY be upgraded.

He shouldn't be getting 15 minutes.

This guy just has negative aura about him. He comes in. Misses wide open 3. Allows wide open 3 to George by helping for no reason. Fouls on defensive rebound when we are position to get the ball. Goaltends a 3 pointer. I think he also missed another shot. This is all within 2-3 minutes.

His D is soft. When you are team as whole is fragile, you can't have another mental midget out there. He just contributes to it. Not good combo when Lowry/DD are out there...

LOL dude settle down Raps got the win all that matters Ross was part of final 4th qtr UNBELIEVABLE COMEBACK 25-9 Raps run. Don't think Carroll played a single 4th qtr minute was all Lowry/Powell/Ross/DeRozan/Biyombo core TIME.
Win is a win let's just be happy and move on focus now Game 6 finish the job in Indiana shut them up once and for all.

Only team that might be interested in taking on that contract is Colangelos Sixers and that's probably a stretch

trading Ross at draft time along with some of their picks is probably the raps best bet to get rid of this guy and his monster contract that shoots 2-3 3 pointers a game.

He literally jacked up 4 horrible 3pt attempts in a span of 30 seconds.

How is he worth 10 mill a year? I need some explanation that makes sense.

I think Ross is a very frustrating player (i HATE the way he rebounds the ball so softly among the other obvious things), but I actually think re-signing him was a solid move. He's overpaid, but with the new cap, I think he's still a tradeable asset. Not a home run or anything, but I think you could trade him to an exception easily, and maybe get a second round pick or something. Or add him to a bigger deal. Nearly every team wants an athletic shooter. If we trade him this summer and get something positive in return, then I think it was a good signing.

Those were good looks aside from 1 if I remember correctly.

Ross has his flaws but is often scapegoated.

I'm indifferent towards Ross, but that 3 he made today was magical. It was at that moment that I started to believe we had a chance.

WTF? Didn't he hit a huge 3 to cut the lead to 2?

He played poorly. But don't turn on him yet. He could still proove to be useful. Instead of jacking up bricks from three, he should have taken some mid-range shots. He's a gifted guy when he puts his mind to it. But the wide open shot for Solomon Hill is the unforgivable thing y'all should me more mad about because if this game went to OT there is no way the Raptors would have won. They were totally exhausted after the D they played in the fourth

Powell does everything Ross does if not better.

Ross is making major money on the roster and provides very average three point shooting, avoids all contact.

He took one bad one, and missed two open ones, but he also hit a huge 3.
