Be around star players, it will probably help them handle the pressure better in the future. But hard to see that happening IMO, everyone on the team is at an All Star level so like you said, they wouldn't feel the need to take over and play hero ball. Last time DeMar played for USA in the FIBAs in 2014, he did pretty well. That could be a product of coaching though lol.

Really cool to see both Lowry and DeMar on the squad. It's definitely going to make the game fun to watch.

The most interesting part is that of the 10 commits so far Lowry is the only point guard. He could potentially get a lot of minutes, probably taking a less dominant offensive role with the team. Guys like Curry, Wall, Lillard, Paul and Westbrook are all out. Is Irving in?

DeMar can also hit some 3s in international ball which is good. I expect him to get involved more on the fast break and also backing smaller defenders down into the post. DeMar I would assume will have a lesser role because hes going to be sharing minutes with guys like Butler, PG,

There's a chance USA might also select Rudy Gay, especially if a guy like Klay doesn't go.

Imagine them putting Kyle/DD/Rudy out there lol.
