Have him paired with Kyle or Cory, at different time, just so we can run Three 2PG lineups.

Give the other team differnt problems to worry about, and give our guys more rest. we have the depth, lets use it.

better move is to startegically sit lowrry every 4th or 5th game giving delon a good 20-25 mins. 5 mins a night never happens and doesnt really work.

You think Demar and Lowry have 6 mpg cut? I dont see it, if were still trying to win.

Maybe instead of cutting minutes of better players to give lesser players minutes maybe those lesser players arent really giving us much value at all, and we should let em rot on the bench until an injury, if we arent willing to trade them.

I'd be pretty upset to see Carroll with 32 minutes and Sullinger with 26 minutes if the result is that Jakob gets zero playing time.
I also don't think that Pat should play a single minute at C this year, with basically every other big being better suited for that role in my opinion. Additionally, if Norm plays 7 mins and Ross plays 20 that would be another blunder for Casey.

PG: Kyle Lowry(23)/Cory Joseph(23)/Delon Wright(2)
SG: DeMar DeRozan(24)/Kyle Lowry(14)/Norman Powell(7)
SF: DeMarre Carroll(16)/DeMar DeRozan(12)/Terrence Ross(14)/Norman Powell(6)/Bruno Coboclo(0)
PF: Jared Sullinger(16)/Patrick Patterson(22)/Demarre Carroll(10)/Pascal Siakam(0)
Cc: Jonas Valanciunas(26)/Jared Sullinger(10)/Jakob Poeltl(12)/Lucas Noguiera(0)
Lowry 37
DeRozan 36
JV 26
Sully 26
Carroll 26
Joseph 23
Patterson 22
Ross 14
Powell 13
Poeltl 12

I believe that many of these guys are deserving of more minutes, but there is a logjam almost everywhere, except for SF.

I would prefer to see:
PG: Kyle Lowry(23)/Cory Joseph(23)/Delon Wright(2)
SG: DeMar DeRozan(16)/Kyle Lowry(12)/Norman Powell(18)/Delon Wright(2)
SF: DeMarre Carroll(16)/DeMar DeRozan(16)/Terrence Ross(16)//Bruno Coboclo(0)
PF: Jared Sullinger(14)/Patrick Patterson(22)/Demarre Carroll(8)/Jakob Poeltl(4)/ Pascal Siakam(0)
Cc: Jonas Valanciunas(29)/Jared Sullinger(10)/Jakob Poeltl(9)/Lucas Noguiera(0)
Lowry 35
DeRozan 32
JV 29
Carroll 24
Sully 24
Joseph 23
Patterson 22
Powell 18
Ross 16
Poeltl 13
Wright 4

I'd still like to get Siakam minutes, but don't see it happening.

Lowry 32 to 36
Demar 32 to 36
Jonas 28 to 30
Demarre 28 to 30
Cojo 22 to 28
Sully 22 to 26
Patt 20 to 24
Norm 16 to 20
Ross 12 to 15
Poelt 12 to 15
Delon 8 to 10

Siakam 5 to 7
Bebe 4 to 6
Bruno 3 to 5

Adding them up probably won't add up to the 240 minutes distributed among the 5 positions but with injuries and DNPs this is where I expect everyone to end up at seasons end.

If Sullinger has a great season, and shows he can manage his weight well, it gives Masai protection against Patterson making some absurd demand. But that's a big if at this point, and not worth tearing up the roster. As for the Ross hate, he has started driving the ball more, and adding mid-range shots like that floater. If he begins profiling as a complete player, he will get more minutes, or will become more attractive in a trade. If it's the latter, I don't assume it will be for picks and cap space. More likely, he'd be paired with assets like Poeltl, Carroll or Patterson to bring in a more impactful player.

How's he insurance if we dont have bird rights or capspace anyway? If anything Pat get more leverage because of how we filled the pf spot so far.

Anything is possible but if we have any shot at a player like Cousins or Blake Griffin then JV will be what gets it done. Spicing a trade with prospects to add to DeMarre or Pat to get lesser talent seems like a waste of time and future potential. We are going to have to give up a serious starter and potential allstar commodity to get the kind of talent that moves the dial.

Everyone plays an even number of minutes; anything else would be odd.

Powell playing at SF for 20 minutes , does it make him the shortest SF in the league? Carmelo, Simmons, Jaylen Brown , Paul George and Lebron will post him up everytime they get touches.
Powell is a player with great potential, but playing behind Demar and Joseph could be an issue for him to find minutes in the Raps. IT is also hard to imagine Casey will put him at SF for 20mins in the game just for the sake of giving him minutes.

Powell lacks length but he started 24 games at SF as a rookie and held his own. In the playoffs, the refs gave him a harsh rookie whistle and he was neutralized but he showed a lot of potential manning up George prior to that. Also, you have to factor that coming off the bench he'd spend a lot of the game guarding bench wings. Plus, teams tend to go small a lot so a lot of those bigger SFs you listed play plenty of minutes at the 4.

I think most of the lineups people are posting are pretty accurate guesses or wishes but not accounting for the fact that teams go small and players play up a position.

You guys are forgetting we have Casey as HC, here is what the rotation is going to look like.

PG: Lowry (35) / CoJo (13) / Delon (0)
SG: DD (36) / Cojo (10) / Powell (2)
SF: DMC (26) / Ross (13) / Powell (9)
PF: Sullinger (20) / 2pat (20) / DMC (8)
C: JV (30) / Sullinger (10) / Whoever (10)
