Hey, just cause he's black doesn't mean he's automatically good at basketball.

Raps have 3 PF's already, NOT including Carrol and Poeltl, not sure PF is a need

As cool as it would be to have Carl Landry and Kyle Lowry on the same team, Carl Landry is basically done. He's not even a role player anymore.

The worst part is that if we signed him you could forget either Poeltl or Siakam possibly getting minutes as a 4th big. Casey would still play him despite all the reasons not to.

Landry wasn't getting mintues primarily because he was injured and in rehab, not because he wasn't good enough. Hip surgery in 2013. Blew out his knee in 2014. Wrist surgery in 2015. This and his age probably diminishes him beyond usefulness but he was a very solid player prior to that.

As for Casey playing him ahead of a couple of untested rookies, I would imagine he would if he was better than they were. Other than that, there's no evidence in Casey's Raptor history that says he refuses to play rookies over veterans. JV started. Ross got minutes. Powell worked his way into the last season rotation as a 2nd round pick. So many fans are convinced that every rookie deserves more minutes and in most cases they don't. I suspect that both Poeltl and Siakam are not NBA ready and won't play much for what should be a 50 win team. That won't stop people from complaining about it.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.
